Day 1

(Thursday)

We meet at Tromsø airport (TOS) in the afternoon and drive towards our accommodation for the adventure. When we arrive we will pack out our gear and give a tour briefing on what is going to happen the next days. We will also go through the equipment that we are wearing and further prepare for tomorrow.

After finishing the briefing we’ll have a tasteful nordic dinner and enjoy a social evening before heading out the next day.

Day 2

(Friday)

After eating our breakfasts we’ll head to our Rib, a transfer that takes about 10 minutes. From there it will be a 20 to 30 minute long boat ride out to the area where we find the whales. As we know where they are it will not take too long for us to find them! When we do locate the whales and position the Rib to get close, we will use as much of the remaining daylight to “hunt” for the whales for spectacular photographic moments and look for beautiful light conditions.

You will be served lunch on board and may even go on a nearby pier to stretch our legs. We will stay on the water as long as the lighting conditions are sufficient for good whale spotting.

When light strikes out we head back to the cabins and eat an enjoyable dinner while editing and downloading the photo capture of the day. The evening is set for chilling out.

Day 3

(Saturday)

Same routine as Friday

Day 4

(Sunday)

Sundays are usually more crowded day on the fjord so we take the car and hunt the lights, mountains and nature in the area. This area around Tromsø has many scenic highlights to bring to the table.

The Sunday adventure ends with a dinner at the cabin where we will do a tour debriefing.

Day 5

(Monday)

We eat breakfast before departuring to the airport.
